The Yankees have wrapped up their season with a victory against the Tampa Bay Rays. Now it is off to the post season. The Yankees will wait to see the outcome of this week in order to find out who they will be matched against. In all honesty, I really don’t think it matters. They are going to take it to either of the teams that makes it out of the central division. The Tigers nor the Twins have the bats to match the Yankees run production, and neither of their pitching staffs will be able to silence the lineup.

After the Yankees take it to the winner of the central division, my guess is the Tigers, they will beat the Red Sox in six games. I think they are the best team in baseball and this truly is their year. I am assuming it will be the Yankees and the Phillies in the World Series. I think the Cards will put up a good fight in the NL, but when it comesw down to it, the Phillies will walk out of the NL victorious.

This is the year of the New York Yankees. They will not be denied.
