Derek Jeter Wants To Own A Franchise
Derek Jeter, the captain of the New York Yankees, and five time world series champion has made it publicly known that he is interested in one day owning a sports franchise.
At an event promoting his new shoe – the Jordan Jeter Throwback – Jeter said he wants to be like Mike, who is now majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats.
“Oh yeah,” he told The AP, “The only interest I have in ownership is to be able to call the shots. I’ve said that time and time again.”

Jeter will probably own something that is smaller. He has no where near the money that Jordan does. Is jeter getting married? I heard that he was but I don’t know if it was just a rumor…
